ONE YEAR OLD!!!!!!

crazy dont you think? a whole year passed by. youre no longer my tiny peanut. youre my big boy now. (even bigger now at 19 months, hehe)

you know, when i was growing up, i used to dream about being married and having kids. but i never imagined it being as great as it actually is. you are by far the most fantastic human being to ever be born. the things you do. silly things, funny things. the things you learn everyday. just watching you and staring into your eyes brings the greatest joy to my heart. life before you barely exhists. almost like you've been here forever.

you love to laugh and dance and you love to snuggle. (you still do)

you got your 9th and 10th teeth this month. my early teething boy.

this was an exciting month for mommy. i started doing child care. allowing me to spend even more time with you. i wouldnt change that for anything in the world. i feel so blessed to be able to spend my days with you. and you get to have a BFF ;) miss mica. we love her.

so this month you were saying about 8 words. hi, bye, mama, dadda, nana, papa, hey and apple.

you could walk with furniture.

you started fake laughing (like a hyena) love to drink water, pull yourself to a stand up, sing, clap wave and high five are a few of your fav things this month.

i love you my sweet boy. you bring so much happiness to my life, you have no idea. you are a great kid. you love everyone. and have so much fun living everyday.

i think about you constantly kiddo. youre always on my mind.

colins 11th month

dear mr. colin james

11 whole months old. time just flies by.

this month was a fun one. you started taking steps and finally crawling! yay. way to go baby.

daddy and i took you blueberry picking this month. you had a really fun time. you did a lot of eating of said berries ;) haha

this month was a busy one for you too. we took you down to the lake for kempenfest. of course you being too little for all the fun, but you enjoyed the walk.

aunty ashley came to meet us for a lunch. and than uncle brandon and ashley came for a weekend visit too. we had a good bye bbq for mommys cousin shane and his g.f leah anne. they moved a really long ways away. it was sad to see they go.

and this month you started waving bye bye.

colins 10th month letter

dear baby boy

youre technically 19 months now, mamas VERY late and needs major catching up. but seeing as youre so young, you wont be reading them for a long time anyways ;)

so 10 months. wow. feels like forever ago you were that tiny.

some milestones you hit this month include, drinking from a sippy cup, cutting your 7th and 8th tooth, using a spoon for the first time, playing patty cake, clapping your hands, and the biggest one of all, your very first sleep over!!

we also did some big trips with you this month.

near the begining of this month, we took you to the beach for the first time. i even took you in the water for a nice dip ;)



here you are with daddy in the sprinklers downtown. you really enjoyed yourself.

grandma and papa bought you a pool to enjoy too. you loved splashing around in the cool water.

so lets talk about your first sleep over. mommy and daddy were celebrating 7 years married together and decided to see niagara falls. you got to sleep at grandma and papas. you did so good. we called a lot and texted to make sure you were okay. you had a blast of course. being such a good little guy and all.

we had a great time but missed you so much. it was hard to leave you behind. but mommy and daddy needed some baby free time away. dont worry, it doesnt happen all that often ;)

we took you to toronto to the island this month. it was hot. very hot. it was grandma and papas company picnic. we didnt stay that long. but you got to go swimming and have a bbq lunch.

you were so close to crawling this month too. nearly there my boy!

well my sweet guy, that was your 10th month. cant wait to go over the next months.
